How do the two antennas work?

The two antennas are diversity function, only select/auto-switch one better signal receipt antenna working at same time. This design is for improve the signal receipt quality and reliability.

How to put the receiver antenna to obtain best signal?

To obtain the best results of the diversity function, please refer to the following instructions:

  1. The two antennas must be kept as straight as possible. Otherwise, it will reduce the effective range.
  2. The two antennas should be placed at 90 degrees to each other. This is not a critical figure. But the most important thing is to keep the antennas away from each other as much as possible. Larger models can have large metal objects that can attenuate the RF signal. In this case, the antennas should be placed at both sides of the model. Then the best RF signal condition is obtained at any flying attitude.
  3. The antennas must be kept away from conductive materials, such as metal and carbon by at least a half inch. The coaxial part of the antennas does not need to follow these guidelines, but do not bend it in a small radius.
  4. Keep the antennas away from the motor, ESC, and other noise sources as far as possible.

How to put the module antenna to obtain best signal?
  1. The transmitter antenna is adjustable so please make sure that the antenna is never pointed directly at the model when flying as this creates a week signal for the receiver.
  2. Keep the antenna perpendicular to the transmitter’ face to create a better RF condition for the receiver. Of course, this depends on how you hold the transmitter. But in most cases, adjusting the transmitter antenna so that it is perpendicular to the face will give the best results, please adjust the transmitter antenna to the way you hold the transmitter.
  3. Never grip the antenna when flying as this degrades RF quality.
Where does the sensor hub connect with?

The Sensor Hub should be plugged to “Rx port” of the D8R-XP/D8R-II plus/D4R-II receiver, but not A1 nor A2 port.

What’s the order of the output connections from FrSky receivers?

The receiver channel assignment all depends on the radio you are using. FrSky receivers do not have channel order.

Is it possible to use S-Bus servos and conventional servos at the same time on the TFR-4SB receiver?

Yes, it can be working simultaneously, but make sure that S-Bus servos are connected with SB port and conventional servos with the ordinary port.

Is it possible to use the Temperature Sensor (TEMS-01) on the D8R-II+ without the sensor hub?

No, a sensor hub must be fixed up when using TEMS-01, but FBVS and FAS can.

Why does variometer sensor on hub and D8R-II sometimes give values on FLD02 that vary from -9 to +50m when the plane is not moving on a table?

Please try to place the variometer sensor far away from the hub, receiver and battery as far as you can. if the altitude value becoming stable, the value varies may be caused by signal interference, you can add a capacitor.

Which FrSky receivers will bind with the FrSky V8HT 2.4Ghz DIY Module?

All FrSky V8-series receiver

Does V8HT/DHT/DFT/DJT bind to a TFR6?

The V8HT is work with FrSky ACCST V8-series receiver only, but the TFR6 is Futaba FASST compatible receiver. They are incompatible.

How to assign the conventional port to 9ch~14ch on TFR8SB? Is it possible to use TFR8SB as a multi receiver like TFR8-S?

The TFR8SB is 8-channels for the standard servo, and 16-channels for S.bus compatible servo. It is not combining to 14 channel receiver as the TFR8S.

On the FLD 02 unit there is a slot with 2 pins, what is this for?

The two pins connector on the bottom-left of FLD-02 is for firmware upgrade only.

Is it OK to shorten the aerials on the V8 series receivers providing?

NO, the origin aerial is the best length for signal reception, we do not suggest change the aerial length, or decline the receipt range.

Is it possible to connect DHT-U module together with FLD-02 one in order to display more information at the same time?

It’s impossible. But you can apply the two-way module + two FLD-02s in parallel connection.

Is it possible to connect two FLD-02 screens to one DHT unit?

Theoretically speaking is no problem when connecting two FLD-02. But the setting value only stores once in the module and ensure the battery can deliver enough capacity for two FLD-02 used.

What is best process for reversing the servos on the radio?

In the main interface, press the MENU button, then press the PAGE button repeatedly until the “SERVOS” interface, move the cursor to select the channel which you want to reverse, and press the ENT button, then about laterally, move the cursor to  appear”→”, press the ENT button again to choose.

Is the DIY DHT module compatible with my radio?

The DHT DIY hack module is work with almost all PPM output transmitter. the V+ and GND and lead from the power switch or battery side, the ppm signal can lead from the trainer port. pls check it.

How to update the firmware for X8R receiver?

Hi, pls reference the upgrading process at:
https://www.frsky-rc.com/how-to-use-frsky-stk-tool-to-update-firmware/
Cable require: FUC-3 + SPC (SmartPort upgrade tool adapter), or STK usb tool.

Which ACCST receivers are compatible with the original X9DP radio?

The original Taranis X9DP has built-in XJT module, which is compatible with blow receivers:

1. V8- II series receiver, such as V8FR-II, V8R7-II
2. D8 series receiver: D4FR, D8R-II PLUS, etc
3. X-series: X6R,X8R,X4RSB,XSR,XM,XM+ etc
4, S-series: S6R, S8R
5, L-series: L9R
